Dig Into Reading This Summer @ The Kate Love Simpson Library!

Bunnies Reading

Beginning June 3rd, participants may register at either the Main Library in McConnelsville or the Chesterhill Branch. Fill out a form with your name, phone number, and age or grade and you will receive your summer schedule with a bookmark, stickers, and other goodies in a special tote bag.

The Kate Love Simpson Library will be offering a summer jam-packed with a variety of programs, contests, and activities at least once a week.

   Possum Reading to Mice

Here is how the program works:
• For those babies and toddlers who can’t yet read by themselves, the Read To Me allows parents/guardians to read their summer reading books to them. Prizes will be awarded after the child has had 5, 10, and then 15 books read to them.
• For those kindergarteners through 3rd graders, prizes will be awarded after you read 5, 10, and then 15 books.

• For those 4th through 6th graders, prizes will be awarded after reading 150, 300, and then 450 pages.
• For those 7th through 12th graders, prizes will be awarded after participants complete a bingo once on a “Beneath the Surface” Bingo Board and then twice on the same board.
