An Egg-ucational Program

This program is designed for school age children interested in learning more about the structure, parts, and development of eggs. We will be specifically using chicken eggs, but questions about other poultry are welcome. We will be learning from Chris Penrose and Sophia Whisman from the OSU Extension Office. This would be a great opportunity for any of our local homeschool families looking to incorporate a hands on science/biology lesson. We hope to see you there. No registration required.

Bill Reynolds is the Historian and Exhibit Specialist for the Campus Martius Museum in Marietta, Ohio.

The Earthworks of Marietta-The First Accounts. It is a known fact the Hopewell occupation of our river valley extended from Marietta far north and today attract much interest. But how were these curious discoveries looked upon and what was their use that inspired a national and international interest in our Muskingum Valley?

Hexbug Maze Engineering

Youth can use their imagination and engineering skills to build a maze from provided household supplies.

Will it work if we release the Hexbug?

Will they have to reengineer the maze? 

This program suitable for multiple ages, but younger children may need adult assistance. Not recommended for children under 5yrs.

*Note: Due to the creative nature of this program it may exceed the scheduled 1 hr. program time.
