Mark your calendars to attend this intriguing event on Wednesday, September 10^th, beginning at 6:00 p.m. in McConnelsville.  In Eight Seconds of Grace, Thad recounts John McBeth’s career from its beginning, breaking colts with his father on the home place in Kansas, to the saddle bronc world championship and cowboy hall of fame.

Both Kate Love Simpson Library locations will be closed on Monday, September 1 in observance of Labor Day.  Normal hours of operation will resume Tuesday, September 2.  Your libraries will be closed all day on Saturday, September 6.  Don’t forget… the library website (www.morgan.lib.oh.us) is always available 24/7 for account access, renewals, catalog searches, research and digital downloads.  See you at the Fair!  Stop by and visit with us in the Floral Hall.

Visit the library each Wednesday for stories, activities, music, crafts, and more!  No registration is required.  

• Harmon Thomas' presentation focuses on Ohio Barn paintings.  Join us as Harmon shares photos of local and state barns.

• Together with MIBA Bearings, we are bringing a special live animal show to the small stage, next to the covered bridge.  Grab your seat by 2:30 for an action packed adventure complete with critters you don't normally see at the fair. Happy Kids' Day @ the Fair everyone!! 

• This course covers the basics of digital downloading.  An overview will be provided detailing types of materials that are available through the library website.  Specific classes will be scheduled in September to aid patrons in downloading content to a specific device type.
