Americorps will be visiting the library during trick-or-treat to offer story time and free books.  Please bring your child to the library and join in the fun!  No registration is required.

Whether you are looking to buy books, explore the library, or simply spend an afternoon outdoors, the library is the place to be.  Fall Fest includes the Friends of the Library Used Book Sale, Games, Music, and More!

We will be opening the garage doors and cleaning out our collection of used books.  Fill a bag as you find your new collection of interesting reads.  This event will extend into Saturday with the sale continuing, along with Fall Fest activities including food, music, games, and more!

Like to try new recipes? Want to spend an evening at the library meeting new friends and sharing culinary ideas?  Cookbook Club is starting at the McConnelsville Library.  On Thursday, September 26th at 6:00 p.m. we will be meeting in the library meeting room to share kitchen creations and recipes.  Bring your favorite homemade dish, the corresponding recipe, and join in the fun of eating, chatting, and cookbook exploration.  No registration is required.  Staff members are hoping to make this a monthly event with various themes and creative outcomes. 

Join Miss Barh each Wednesday as she shares stories, crafts, and snacks.  No registration is required.

The McConnelsville Library will be closing at 5 p.m. during the week of the Morgan County Fair.  Please visit the library booth in the Floral Hall to spin the wheel, check out the picture display, browse the book selection, and visit with friends.

Join us from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. for dinner, swimming, prizes, and more.  Bring your families and spend the evening celebrating your child's reading accomplishments.
