Kiddie Farmer's Market

The Morgan County Farm Bureau has partnered with Muskingum County Farm Bureau with the Ag Literacy Grant that they have received from the state. This grant allows for Muskingum County to create Pop Up Farmers Markets where students can use tokens given to them to purchase real local produce. This is a way for the students to know where to purchase local produce and receive recipe cards on how to use the produce that they purchased when making a healthy meal or snack when they get home. This is also a way to assist families in encouraging them to purchase local produce to add into their diets at home. Join the Morgan County Farm Bureau at the Kate Love Simpson Library on July 9th from 1-3pm to have an interactive Farmers Market experience!
